I’m an experienced, widely-published freelance writer and journalist with 5+ years' experience.

I write agenda-setting, multi-award-winning journalism across print and digital for some of the UK and Middle East’s leading media titles. I’ve built a respected and trusted name specialising in marginalised communities, contemporary faith, issues impacting women, British identity, social issues, LGBTQ+ issues and Middle East youth culture, with a particular focus on providing a platform for invisible voices.

My articles have been translated into German, Spanish, Arabic, Italian, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, Czech, Slovakian and Romanian, among other languages. My work has also been published in a number of territories beyond the UK including North America, the Middle East and Australasia. I’ve also filed stories from Beirut, Berlin, Dubai as well as London, where I’m currently based.
